Senior / Lead Technical Artist

About the Position
As our Senior or Lead Technical Artist you will be responsible for building tools and materials for artists, animators, etc., as well as working closely with game designers, level designers, and programmers. You will also be responsible for the whole tech. art team, participate in pre-planning and be co-responsible for which tools that have to be developed for artists in the project.
The Responsibilities:
- Developing tools for Unreal Engine, e.g. importers, modify asset settings, creating new asset types etc.
- Working with shaders (GLSL) and/or materials in Unreal Engine
- Working with C++ and/or blueprints in Unreal Engine (4 and 5) (optional, but beneficial)
- Communicating efficiently in verbal and written English
Your Profile
We see you as a person with many years of experience working as a technical artist in indie, AA, or AAA studios. You are a person who has good knowledge of Unreal Engine, asset optimization, and has a good eye for out-of-the-box problem-solving!
What You Need to Have
- 6+ years of experience working as a tech artist in games
- Ability to work in Unreal Engine
- Solid experience with C++ and python (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
